Oramio doesn’t collect anything about you. There’s no account to create, and the app has no analytics, ads or tracking. This page explains where your information goes when you use the app, and who can see it.

Oramio is made by [Developer name], an independent developer in Cyprus (“we” on this page), who is responsible for how Oramio handles your information.

On your devices

Your addons, library, watch progress and settings are stored on your device. If iCloud is on, Oramio syncs them through your private iCloud database so they match on all your devices. Their contents are end-to-end encrypted: only your devices can read them, not Apple and not us.

Addons

Oramio comes with no addons. When you add one, your device talks to it directly to fetch catalogs, details and sources, and sends it what you search for. Whoever runs the addon receives those requests and your IP address, as any website would, and what they do with them is up to them. Oramio doesn’t send them anything else about you.

Videos, subtitles and artwork load straight from wherever your addons point, so those servers see your IP address too.

Oramio Catalogs

Our own optional addon works the same way. It receives requests for the catalogs and titles you browse and what you search for. It uses no cookies and doesn’t identify you. Cloudflare, which runs it, keeps its request logs for three days. Its artwork loads from The Movie Database (TMDB), whose servers see your IP address when it does.

Trakt

If you connect Trakt, Oramio sends it what you watch, what you’re playing and your list, so your Trakt account stays up to date. Trakt’s own privacy policy covers that data. Your sign-in stays in your device’s Keychain, and you can disconnect in Settings at any time.

Crash reports and betas

If you’ve chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device’s settings, Apple passes us crash reports. They don’t identify you. If you test a beta through TestFlight, Apple also passes us the feedback you send, with the name and email address you gave TestFlight.

Deleting your data

Deleting Oramio removes what it stored on that device. To remove what’s in iCloud too, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then iCloud, Storage and Oramio. Clear Watch History, in Oramio’s settings, clears your history on all your devices. We hold nothing about you, so there’s nothing for us to delete.

This website

oramio.app uses no cookies or analytics. Cloudflare serves it and keeps standard request logs.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, or to delete it, at [contact email]. If you’re in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to a data protection authority, such as Cyprus’s Commissioner for Personal Data Protection.
